It's VERY important that you show up to your biometrics appointment. However, if for some emergency or unexpected even you can't make it, just show up to your appointment and ask them if you could take them. They tend to be flexible and helpful.

I've never built a business with that amount but assuming you're using $300 for equipment and promotion, I'd suggest a mowing lawns business.

Equipment runs around $150-$300 for an ok lawn-mower plus business cards.
